Our Statement of Faith

Our Story

Grow Mongolia began in 2016 in response to God’s call for Mongolians to bring the gospel to Asia and beyond.

Officially incorporated in July 2021 as a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization, Grow Mongolia conducts direct evangelism and discipleship for Mongolians across the globe. In alignment with God’s original call for Mongolians to share the good news with other nations, founders Peter and Sainbayar prayed that, through the power of the Holy Spirit, the number of Mongolian Christians would grow significantly.

Inspired by the Apostle Paul’s unwavering commitment to proclaim the gospel to the ends of the earth (Acts 28:31), they envisioned the former landscapes of the Mongol Empire under Chinggis Khaan and his descendants being transformed—covered in prayer, prayer walking, active evangelism, church planting, and discipleship to reflect the character of Jesus.

Like Paul’s appeal in Acts 27:25 to ‘keep up your courage, for I have faith in God,’ they prayed for a movement of bold, faith-filled believers mobilized to bring light to the spiritually darkest areas of the world.

Grow Mongolia Ministry Statement of Faith, approved by the Board on

01.13.25 GMM adheres to the following foundational beliefs:

1. The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the ultimate authority for faith and life (Isaiah 55:11; Romans 15:4; 1 Corinthians 10:11-12; 2 Tim 3: 14-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

2. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit ( Isaiah 40:28-29; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

3. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully human, who died for the sins of humanity and rose from the dead to provide eternal life ( Isaiah 7:14, 9:6; Luke 1: 26-35; John 1:18; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

4. Salvation is a free gift from God, available to all who place their faith in Jesus Christ ( Romans 5:11; Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9: 11-12, 22).

5. The Great Commission is a mandate for all believers, to make disciples of all nations, teaching and baptizing them in the name of Jesus (Daniel 7:13-14; Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16: 15-16; Luke 24:46-48).

6. The Church is at the very center of God’s purpose and is His appointed means of spreading the gospel ( 1 Timothy 3:14-15; Titus 1: 5-9; Ephesians 3: 8-12; Philippians 1:27).
